Please note that these forums aren't a free translation service, but a language learning community. If you're learning Spanish, please make your own title translation attempt first without an online translator and ask questions. We will help you with what you find difficult.

If you want to translate the whole lyrics we cannot help you, since copyrighted lyrics can't be posted in the forums to keep Tomísimo protected from copyright infringement issues.
Still, if you are learning, and have difficulties with few verses, that could be considered "fair use" and we may help you correct your try.

Just in case YOU don't understand, by default when you translate on your website you do provide a translation service, hence a language learning community. I am trying to learn spanish and I did try to unravel the translation to the title of the song without much success. I do not want a translation to a song but a translation to the title only. Now if I am not understanding the purpose of this website then let me know asap and I won't post any further questions. If however, I am within the parameters of this website usage and purpose, then I would suggest you try to understand someone before you make dumb statements.

"I really miss you my father." Does that make sense Evis?

Just an FYI, the way you posted your question, it sounds like you wanted a translation for the entire song and just gave the song title for a reference. I don't think Angelica tried to offend you so don't take it personally. It's just that there are a lot of people who create a membership thinking they'll get a free translation of something in order to pass a class. Once they see free translations aren't offered, we never hear from them again because they move on to the next place.

The reason you're encouraged to try your hand at a translation and post it on the thread is so that those who are fluent in both Spanish and English Like Angelica and Villa can see where your mistakes are and offer suggestions on how to understand them better. Good luck to you!

@EVisMe: If you have seen the contents of the forums, you'll see that questions are always welcome. What we mean by saying this is not a free translation service is that we can't provide gratuituous translations; all learners are asked to make an effort and post their own attempts first, or at least make questions on the words or structures that they find difficult, so we can explain and/or provide hints to make it easier. Providing an English equivalent without any explanation is not helpful for real learning processes.

In order to help you undersand the song title, we need to know what you think the sentence could mean (if you know the contents of the song, you may have an idea) and what you find hard to understand in it: the verb conjugation, the expression "hacer falta"... (?)

If it's the latter, then I propose that you start with this discussion on "hacer falta" here.

@BJ: Thank you.

Hola Evis. So you wanted the translation to the title of the song nada mas/only. This is where the confusion was. Sin embargo/However I do see your point.

"Que Falta Me Haces Mi Padre = I really need you my father or I really miss you and need you my father.

Let me know if this helps you amigo.
