Research

Is it correct to use few?

-There are __ research about this.

I am not sure, mainly owing to the nature of the word, because in dictionaries we find researches, but when it comes to having to use a quantifier, we have no guidance from dictionaries.

"There are few research about this." is not correct.
I have never heard the word "researches" as a noun. "He researches fish" -- that's a verb.

There is little research about this. (correct)
There isn't much research about this. (sounds better)
