Hi everyone. I'm Lisa and I've been learning Latin American Spanish on my own for a trip to Costa Rica. I've actually been studying a Costa Rican phrasebook and dictionary in addition to Latin American Spanish lessons I use from various apps. Tutor fees are out of my financial reach so I was happy to come across this forum for tips/advice/correct translations. I'm having trouble with grammatical aspects of the language.

My trip to Costa Rica will not be my only time visiting, so I want to eventually become fluent in the Spanish spoken there. I will be going once a year maybe more and I would like to practice Spanish weekly, daily when able so as not to lose what I learn. I'm still very much at beginner status.

Hope to "meet" others here who are fluent in Spanish and those, like myself, who are learning as well.
