Don't know if this is helpful but when I was in Chile my friends often said "Si po" and "No po" - they explained to me that it was slang specific to Chile, and basically just intensifies the word it follows.

That is the equivalent of Si pues, no pues. I do not know if it is an emphasis of some kind.... might be...
