Thank you Angelica! I have added more to my OP ... and I have a bunch more to post for advise. Should I keep adding to my OP or start new threads?
Usted puede mezclar el tequila con otras bebidas o u* otros líquidos como sangrita o sal y limón. ![]() (You could also say "Se puede mezclar el tequila con otras bebidas...") Mixing tequila with other beverages is disgusting, btw. ![]() When the next word after "o" starts with another "o" or with "ho", it is changed for "u", for euphonic reasons. Thank you! I was unaware of o to u. ![]() Yo no conozco a ningún bailes mexicanos tradicionales. ![]() ![]() - "Conocer a" is used for people. "Conocer", when referred to things doesn't have preposition "a". - "Ningún" is singular, and then you're using plural. "Ningunos" doesn't sound good here, so try changing everything to singular. - "También nunca" don't fit together. It's either "nunca he visto" or "tampoco he visto". - "Algún" is used in affirmative sentences. For negative sentences, "ningún" is the correct word. - "Latinoamericano" is an adjective, not a place, so it's either "un país de Latinoamérica" or "un país latinoamericano". Sé que ninguno de los bailes tradicionales mexicanos. Nunca he visto el Ballet Folklórico de ningún un país latinoaméricano. Is that better? 6. ¿Qué celebran los mexicanos el 5 de mayo? Los mexicanos celebran el cinco de mayo en mayo de sesiones(?). ![]() ![]() What do you mean to say in "en mayo de sesiones"? ![]() I actually don't know! I think I was trying to say that Mexicans celebrate cinco de mayo on the fifth of may but that does not look right ... 7. ¿Qué fecha importante se celebra en al lugar donde Ud. vive? En el lugar donde vivo, celebramos el Día de Canadá, que se celebra el aniversario de Canadá se convirtió en su propio país. "Su propio país" suggests a person's property. You're celebrating when Canada became an autonomous country. Can you re-write your sentence? En el lugar donde vivo, el Día de Canadá es el día en que celebramos cuando Canadá se convirtió en un país autónomo. How is this one?

You've done a good job for these ones. I noticed the others you posted last night, but I didn't have time left for correcting them. I'll take a look at the rest of them later today. In the meantime, I think someone else might also help. ![]()

Thank you very much for your guidance AngelicaDeAlquezar!
Here are my corrections based on your comments: No conozco ninguno de los bailes tradicionales mexicanos. Nunca he visto el Ballet Folklórico de ningún un país latinoaméricano. El cinco de mayo es fiesta nacional en México. Es una celebración de la victoria del ejército mexicano sobre las fuerzas francesas en Puebla. Juan debe contentarse con Pati. Ella debe tener cuidado. Sugiero que también oberservar de aves! Le sugiero que él resuelva el problema.

![]() As for "Sugiero que también oberservar de aves!" there are many things to correct: - "Observar" instead of "oberservar". - "Sugiero que" needs a verb conjugated in subjunctive (like you've written in your other sentences), and here you left "observar" in infinitive. It needs to be conjugated according to the right person and number. - The standard construction with this verb is "observar algo", without "de". ![]()

@ChicaDeJeep: when one says "algo" or "alguien" in the usual structure of a sentence, the words are there to give the general idea. "In this case, "observar algo", in a specific sentence can become:
Observar flores Observar un paisaje Observar animales Observar el cielo etc. So as Rusty suggested, can you change "algo" by the specific proposal you had about observing birds? ![]()
