I'm new here! I am actually a science teacher and have very little experience speaking Spanish. My main goal is to get help for my English Language learners by finding people who can help me translate my classroom documents from English into Spanish, or simply edit the Google Translates that I do to make them more professional and correct any mistakes it may make.

Is that allowed here? Please let me know if that's not accepted in this forum. Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you all!

Hello, the pleasure is ours!

While your goal is worthy, our community is primarily devoted to the learning of Spanish and/or English, although other languages do crop up from time to time.

Threads that ask for help with translation are discouraged unless you yourself are producing the Spanish text. We aren't a free translation service, but are very eager to help others who are trying to learn the language.

My suggestion:
Produce your classroom documents in English and tell your English-language learners that we can help make sense of the phrases they don't understand. Their goals to learn English will be met.

My second suggestion:
Produce your classroom documents in Spanish, using a self-study Spanish course and a great English-Spanish dictionary, several days before you intend to hand them out. Post the materials you've prepared yourself so that we can help you to learn Spanish.

It's a win-win solution.
