Hello everyone. I'm new here, and new to the Spanish language.
I've started going out with a bilingual woman, but there are some gaps when I'm speaking with her parents. I would love to learn a good bit of conversational Spanish so that I can talk to them. I know about as many words as one can count on one's hand, so can anybody help me out?

Welcome JazzyDave, and I'd recommend spending time here in the Idioms section learning to say just a few short ones at first, to spring on her parents, then moving on later to the longer ones. It's a neat way to learn grammar too. Good Luck!
