Se que con grades con "si" se pueden construir en dos maneras dependiendo de si es algo probable o no.

Si me to car a la loteria me compraria...
Si vamos a la playa, compraré in helado.

How do you put both these types in the past tense?

" I told him if he behaved I would buy him a ice cream."
"Le dije que si se portó bien le compraria in helado o si se portara bien le compraria in helado." ?

With the imperfect: "si se portaba bien..."
