A minority person

In large countries like the US, China, Russia and Brazil, there are minority peoples (=races) who have lived in the country for probably thousands of years but have been included in the large country, sometimes by force. These minorities have different types of clothing, they eat different kinds of food from what the majority of the large country would eat, etc. What is one single member of this kind called?

-He is a minority person.

We usually refer to these peoples as native, indigenous or aboriginal.
(We use minority for someone altogether different-a subset of the population.)

So, we would say a native, an indigenous person or an aboriginal.

None of the others work.

The other terms are used to describe the original inhabitants of a region.

John is Zhuang, one of the native people of this area.
John's people, the Zhuang, are indigenous to this area.

The descendants of the natives who populated the American continent before the arrival of Europeans are called Native Americans. You'll seldom hear them referred to as aborigines.
The people who inhabited Australia before the arrival of the Europeans are called aborigines. I've not heard them referred to as Native Australians. The preferred name is now Indigenous Australians.

Both can be called the indigenous people of the country.

Thank you. How about this new situation:

-In Okinawa, Japan, there are minority groups from India, Pakistan or Indonesia. Some of these people were born in Okinawa, some not. Those of them who are working or studying know little Japanese. In studying, those students from the minority groups face difficulty because Japanese is a difficult language, though they can manage listening and speaking, but not writing and reading. What is a person of this group referred to as?

-John is a minority person from Pakistan.
