"How long will you take to .. "

What's the typical way to say the following in Spanish?

"How long will you take (how much time will you spend) looking at wedding dresses?"

OK. My first inclination is this:

Cuanto te demoras viendo los vestidos?

This is what I always say, but I looked up demorar and it says "to delay" which in English implies something else.

With the missing opening question mark, your translation is correct and would be understood everywhere.
Depending on the region, other verbs and constructions may be preferred. Here are some other ways to ask the same question:

- ¿Cuánto te tardas viendo los vestidos?
- ¿Cuánto te lleva/toma ver los vestidos?
- ¿En cuánto tiempo terminas de ver los vestidos?
- ¿Te tomará mucho tiempo ver los vestidos? (Will it take long to look at the dresses?)
...

Could you say
¿Hasta cuando piensas durar viendo los vestidos? That's the way I would say it. Does it sound rude?
