I don't see the difference between Wares and...
I don't see the difference between Wares and merchandise. Both are articles/goods that are bought and sold. I'd say they were synonyms.
The Spanish would be mercancía(s) / artículos de mercancía....

Er, I have no idea if that's what it means in Canarias but never heard it used that way on the mainland. Barbara (the name) is exactly the same in Spanish. If you say to someone "¡Eres bárbara!"...
