Re: Dealing with accent marks
You have to use the keypad on the right for the alt codes to work, it won't work with the numbers above the letter keys. I use firefox and it works just fine. Make sure Num Lock is on too.

"lo" means it
"él" means he
So, "lo que" means "it that," and "él que" means "he that".
A sample sentence:
"Es todo lo que necessito" literally means "Is all it that I need."

I was just wondering...why do many people put "yo" in front of "quiero?" Doesn't "quiero" already mean "I want?"

What is the proper way to say "I love you" to someone in Spanish? Some places I've read it is said "quiero usted", some "te quiero". Are both of these correct?

Body parts
I read somewhere that when referring to body parts in Spanish, you use the appropriate "the" prefix, even if you are describing mine, his, hers, etc. I see that in one of Shakira's songs, she says:
