Creo que sea importante encontrar un medio en quien se puede sumergirse y entablar discusiones etc. Tener unos amigos con quienes se puede chatear (en Skype etc) ayuda también.

I agree, but the sentence should be using "misleading" instead of "misled" in that case, which indicates there's an error if that is the case ;)
