I would use: A mi me gusta cocinar aunque no lo hago bien.

"No lo hago bien" goes towards an acknowledgement of mediocrity. To match the "less than perfect" or even litotes-like nature of the original, I'd rather say:

"Me gusta cocinar, pero no es mi fuerte"
"Me gusta cocinar, pero no me destaco por ello" (meaning "quizás me destaco/destaque, pero no por hacerlo bien)
