Un oleaje bulle

Un oleaje bulle

Hola a todos.

Estudio "El Árbol" de María Luisa Bombal. Encontré la palabra "bulle" y no puedo encontrarla en ningún diccionario.

Aquí es la frase entera: "Un oleaje bulle, bulle muy lejano, murmura como un mar de hojas."

¿Qué significa "bulle"?

I have never seen the word written, but have heard it spoken, and it means noise or boisterousness.

I have heard things like,
Oigo mucha bulla. Me parece que los vecinos están peleando otra vez.

Is bulla the word I hear?

It's "bulla", yes. Also from "bullir", it can talk about a crowd or the noise they make.
