Question Low-slung body

bulldog: a medium-sized dog with a thick, heavy, low-slung body. It has a large head, a short face, wide shoulders and sturdy legs.

How would you say "low-slung body" in Spanish?

¿De estatura baja? ¿Se habla de estatura en perros?

¿"cuerpo grueso, pesado, de poca altura"?

(Cuidado con la Asociación contra el maltrato al animal... ¡no podemos caer tan bajo!) (Aunque sea un perro de poca altura)

(Como decía Reverte en "Un asunto de honor" "¡Perra vida...! ¡P*ta vida!)
