Phone call

I'd like to call my sister (who speaks Spanish) and do the initial contact in Spanish. I did a search here but couldn't find anything related to phone calls. Here's how I'm guessing it would go...is this correct?

Her: Hello?
Me: Hola. Esté es Geeper, tu hermano. ¿Qué tal?

Here's what I'm shooting for:
Hello, this is geeper, your brother. Hows it going?

And thats it (i'm still beginning).

Does this seem right?

Very good but there is no accent on the word Este.....
You would say...........
¡Hola!

= I hope you are well.
esté from the verb Estar

Another option would be:

Hola, habla Geeper, tu hermano, ¿Qué tal?
Hi, this is Geeper your brother speaking, How's it going?

Disfrute la banderola regards.
Crotalito, you say How (are) you doing?, but there are other possibilities like the informal American Howdy?, and like in Spanish sometimes they are more a greeting than a question. What I mean is you don't often expect the person to answer and tell you his/her entire family life, but simply to say hello! back to you.
What is banderola?

Correcto, o no?

So....... (Así que.....)

¿Cómo estás? = how are you (Informal)
¿Cómo está usted? = how are you (Formal)

¿Cómo estais? = how are you all (Informal)
¿Cómo están? = how are you all (Formal)

Hope this help a little bit.

Isn´t hermanita used to refer to a younger sister?
Or did Geeper specify that the said sister is younger...?

I don't hear hermanita used by Latins but I understand it. Latins use
mi hija (o) as a kind way of addressing a younger person--also joven
is used (Oye, joven a que hora llega el próximo bus)
Sometimes older strangers are addressed as mami
or papi

Hermanita, hermanito...
At least, here in Spain, it´s commonly used.
I´ve also heard chaval used to refer to a young person.

She calls me hermanito but I am 10 years younger than her. Would it be appropriate for me to call her hermanita? BYW, I wrote a letter instead of calling.
