This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for October 4, 2008
periódico - masculine noun (el) - newspaper. Look up periódico in the dictionary Tengo el hábito de comprar el periódico todas las mañanas. I'm in the habit of buying the newspaper every morning.

A mi ya no me gusta comprar ni leer el periódico. Puras malas noticias, muertes, guerras, explosiones, gangas, carteles, desorden financiero, etc.
No hay ningua razón tan poderosa que yo sienta la necesidad de deprimirme leyendo el periódico.
