Well, to tell you the truth I've never heard of "cochesita de inválido" (which I think you mean: cochesito para inválidos)....
If you think about it, a wheelchair/silla de ruedas isn't necessarily just for a person that is "inválido".

Those other "wheelchairs" that are for paraplegics, etc. I am sure have a more elaborate name than just wheelchair.

Nunca he visto el nombre de "cochecito de/para inválidos". Siempre he visto "silla de ruedas".

Por cierto, la palabra "inválido", con la moda del lenguaje "políticamente correcto", está en desuso, porque se considera ofensiva. Se prefiere "persona con capacidades diferentes" o "discapacitado".
