It could be that the diet pills are Capslim, as that is the only product I can find that lists the ingredient you gave us. The active ingredient listed in Capslim pills is
troncomín (root therevetiamin). The sites I found were all in Spanish, but other
than the people who sell the pills, everyone else had nothing good to say about them. Some sites say that the active ingredient doesn't exist, at least not by either name given. They say it is really
thevetia peruviana. This, I learned, is an extremely poisonous plant, except for the milky sap that is used as a heart stimulant.

Gavafuté is another brand of pills that claim to contain the same ingredients as Capslim, but cost less. Again, these sites are in Spanish.
Looks like some caution would be prudent.
