The first part should cause no trouble: the verb "levantar" gives the idea of something/someone going up. It's both transitive and intransitive.
- Hoy me levanté muy contenta. I got up happy today. - Levanta tus juguetes. Pick up your toys. - El viento casi me levantó del suelo. The wind almost lifted me up from the floor. As for the sun and the moon, we prefer "salir", as if they came out of nowhere, but you can very well say "el sol se levanta por el oriente". By the way, another word for "oriente" is "levante". ![]()
