The person who sent the message made a typo... The correct word is "manténme". "Keep me informed about your projects related to the Cantigas and if I can help, don't hesitate to ask me".

The word Mantenme doesn't mean that he asking you the death, on the contrary he's asking you that you should keep him noticing about the business that you have with him.
