When reading an article about Gabriel Badilla's heart tumor both words were used to refer to doctor. Is one more colloquial than the other? http://www.nacion.com/2013-06-12/Dep...l-corazon.aspx

"Galeno" es más coloquial (es "jocosamente culto")... pero en el contexto es simplemente informal.
"Médico" y "doctor" son los términos más extendidos y "neutros"...
