What is the difference between harbor and seaport ?

Buena pregunta, un "harbor(EEUU) harbour(UK) es más pequeña que un "seaport" . Al pensar en un "seaport" me da la imagen de un puerto grande con barcos así



usualmente yo diría un "harbour" tiene barcos pequeñas

What about natural a harbor, a handmade a seaport or the other way round?

I think that would be the main difference. The word "harbor" makes me think of a natural geographic occurrence. A "seaport" makes me think of a place where ships and boats are docked. I think that a "seaport" could even be IN a "harbor". The idea of a "harbor" implies protection from bad weather because of barriers (natural or manmade). Is that helpful? I'm sorry I can't explain it in Spanish....
