Passive Voice Construction
Is there any difference in meaning between the three sentences below? Are all three grammatically correct?
• El edificio fue construido en 1949. • El edificio estuvo construido en 1949. • El edificio se construyó en 1949. Many thanks in advance. |

I agree with Rusty.
"Estar" is never a verb used for passive voice. "Estuvo construido" would need more context and it would mean that the building was (finally) finished in 1949.
