Y si, yo estuve en una, fue aproximadamente en septiembre u octubre del año pasado, cerca de la ciudad de México. Por cierto que paso algo curioso, iva con mí pedacito de cielo y despues de la tromba empezó a caer una especie de nieve, muy suave,hicimos un muñeco de nieve y tomamos algunas fotografias. Lo curioso es que en México no cae nieve y los noticieros parece que no se dieron cuenta

Unhappy Trombas/Tornados

Hola!

Entonces tromba es una tormenta de lluvia pero a lo que dices es tambien viento y nieve?

Wow! Los tornados son muy parecidos pero no neva. They are also very powerful and sudden storms although they can be predicted (like 10 mins) before they hit! There is "tornado alley" which is a stretch of land from Oklahoma to Texas where tornados hit almost every year. I don't think I would want to live there!

Después de escribir mi último mensaje, consulté el diccionario y una tromba es de hecho un tornado que absorbe agua de mar o de alguna otra fuente. En inglés es un waterspout.

Si tienes razon, pero tambien se le llama asi, al hecho de caer la llúvia de una manera fuerte y repentina y de poca duracion. Por otro lado, Elaina, yo me refiero ha que prescencie un acontecimiento extraordinario de la naturaleza, ya que como mencione en México no neva y en una tromba no hay nieve.
