He is from Chile. – Jose es de Chile. Is he Chilean? - Es El chileno? Yes, he is Chilean. – Si, El es chileno. What do you talk with him about? – Sobre(De) que hablas con el? I agree with the corrections to the Spanish text that have already been given.
The English text can be changed as indicated and will still have the SAME Spanish translation. The Spanish present tense covers several English usages. Quote:

wrholt, Rusty - thanks a lot for your detailed answers
![]() Interesting to know that Spanish Present covers both English Present Simple and Continuous ![]() please see the corrections below and let me know if now it looks any better: Who do you often write to? – ¿A quién escribes a menudo? I often write to Alberto. – Escribo a Alberto a menudo. Where do we go today? – ¿A dónde vamos hoy? Today we go to the cinema – Vamos al cine hoy. Who do we go to the cinema with? - ¿Con quiénes vamos al cine? We go with Jose and Jorge? – Vamos con José y Jorge. Where’s Jose from? – ¿De dónde es José? He is from Chile. – José es de Chile. Is he Chilean? - ¿Es Él chileno? Yes, he is Chilean. – Si, Él es chileno. What do you talk with him about? – ¿Sobre(De) qué hablas con él? I speak with him about lots of things. – Hablo con él sobre muchas cosas. Why do You(Usted) go to club with him? – ¿Por qué va al club con él usted? I am just not quite sure what the missing word in the last sentence is, i thought 'al' replaces 'a el' so it doesn't need any more words? Thanks for your time! |

Excellent work. The remaining items aren't issues of grammar and spelling, but issues of style.

Wrholt, you are right should be just lower case, in my book in some places it starts with capital letter and this just stuck to my mind..
Then apparently that should be Why do You(Usted) go to club with him? – ¿Por qué va usted al club con él? Unfortunately i dont even feel the difference yet as started learning recently - it is going to take some time ![]() Thank you for your help ![]() |
