¡Buenos días!

Good morning.

My name is Ali, i'm 19 years of age and a student of the Medical University in Vienna. I'm here to improve my Spanish and help others if they want to learn German.
I also speak Albanian and Serbian but i don't really think anyone wants to learn those.

Feel free to ask me anything who want.

Those are very interesting languages. It is a shame that I don't have that much time for trying to learn them.

Welcome to the forums and thank you for the help you've already provided for me.

well only with I tell you that sometimes I forget some words very easy and I need to find or search them again that is very embarrassed for me because time before I have learnt it and I need to learnt as is written the word again.

I hope you can understand me.

Well, i was raised trilingual so i kind of had an advantage in learning languages. Though, after i graduated from school i only knew like 3-4 phrases in English. I had to learn English in 6 months as i began to study. It was quite annoying that i'd never forget words like ''municipality'' but i struggled with such as ''whenever'' or ''tissue''. As my teacher said, languages can't be taught, only be learned if you put enough effort and dedication in it.

Hola Ali. I am a high school and adult teacher of Spanish and Italian. You caught my attention when you mentioned you speak Albanian and Serbian. While going to school in Italy in Perugia, Umbria I met a lot of Albanians. Also an Italian friend of mine is of Serbian origin. I met some nice people from Albania while in Italy. Albanians have some what of a bad reputation in Italy but that's because of a few bad ones. I met this one Albanian lady who was very nice. She spoke Italian well. She had learned Italian in school in Albania. She was visiting her daughter in Perugia. Albania is just a short 40 mile boat trip across the Adriatic Sea from Italy. Actually Albanians have a long history with Italy. Also Italy invaded Albania during W.W.II. In 1991 there was an exodus of 40,000 Albanians to Italy after communism collapsed there. In Perugia there were a lot of Muslems and they all seem to get along with the Italians. I would eat at this one Egyptian restaurant almost every night that was near my apartment. A lot of Italians and Muslems would go there and they all got along just fine.

My parents are originally from Kosovo but we share the same language and behave just like Albanians from Albania.
There is a bunch from Kosovo and Albania that are notorious for being extremely violent etc. but we have that reputation all over the world, not just Italy.
Unfortunately i've never been to Italy but i would very much like to.

Premium, there is a very interesting Italian movie that I have about Albania
and Italy. It is a drama. The name of the movie is L'America. L'America is not referring to the U.S. but to the idea that Italy was/is America to the Albanians as America was to the Italians when they immigrated to the U.S. It's about a Italian who goes to Albania to take advantage of the situation there to make money. He ends up learning to be compassionate and supportive to the Albanian immigrants to Italy.

Do you want me to send it to you?

I can take this off if there are any complaints.
