Far from the shore
Hola a todos,
I'm a little far from the shore and I'm afraid of sinking. Nothing to do with swimming but more a cry for help in a situation of personal crisis or uncertainty. Out of one's depth emotionally. Is the following a reasonable translation? Estoy un poco lejos de la orilla. Y tengo miedo de ahorgame. Or is this too mechanical? Gracias por su ayuda. Saludos desde Marshall

I'd use your original translation without the fullstop in the middle. It makes more explicit the real fear behind sinking.
