Libro de texto
Is there any difference between libro de texto and texto?
Don't they both mean school book? Like texto de gramática, libro de texto de gramática. Thanks.

One of the several meanings of texto is libro de texto (textbook). Consider one the short for the other.
Libro de texto de gramática is possible but uncommon. "Libro de texto de" is usually followed by the institution or the year or semester in the curriculum. Libro de texto de primer año Libro de texto del Instituto X. Texto de gramática española. Texto de álgebra.
