A band (una banda o un grupo) is singular in form so your use of son and los to refer to the band should have been in the singular form.
However, when people refer to the members of the group they switch to the plural form. In this case, your sentences could have been:
Me gustan mucho (los del grupo Maná). (Ellos) Son de México. Jorge, ¿los conoces y te gustan?

I don't agree with you Rusty, she said the way correct in her translate about it.

As you say Me gustan muchos, it's sound bad form.

The way correct in plural or singular for the mention them, is Me gustan Mucho or Me gusta Mucho Mana.

Because you don't can to say Me gustan muchos, you are speaking above a thing, not people, then the way correct or well translate to say this Me gusta Mucho Mana is correct to say so.

Please you before answer me, it check and analyze your Spanish, if you have questions about it, don't worry we are both can to talk above the use of this sentence in general.

And I like Maná, more their old songs, because their new songs almost I don't like only I like a little some songs to them.

You're right, I shouldn't have added the s to mucho.
Me gustan = I like them
Me gustan mucho = I like them a lot
¿Te gustan? = Do you like them?

My two cents:

Some groups, quite understandable:

La Oreja de Van Gogh

Ella Baila Sola

Tequila (Argentinos, de los 80)

Andy y Lucas

El Canto del Loco

Pata Negra-Raimundo Amador

Alejandro Sanz

Classical music: Falla, Albeniz, Granados, Paco de Lucia....It's not my music, but some of the best classical ever was composed in Spain

This one is an amazing coreography for 'El amor brujo', by Manuel de Falla. The guy used to be on the old 100 pesetas bank notes, if I remember...he lived in Granada.

Hope u like it
