@Perikles: Yes, those fluffy feathers are called "plumones".
Duckfluff is "plumón de pato", but it's rarely heard like that. For your example, we usually just say "edredón de plumas". In this context, I'd translate duckfluff as "pelusa". Su cabello era blanco como la nieve y adherido a su cabeza como pelusa. ![]()
