Hi,
How would you translate the legal meaning of "search and seizure" - US 4th amendment vocabulary?

Thanks,

I'm no legaltranslator, but I would try with "allanamiento y confiscación" or " allanamiento e incautación"
saludos and welcome!

The last translation Sosia gives is probably the one recognized globally. In addition to having goods seized, or confiscated, "seizure" can also include the arrest of the person being searched. I find búsqueda y arresto used quite a bit (more than allanamiento e incautación), although there are web sites that use allanamiento y arresto and búsqueda y confiscación, too.
