Very funny if you don't mind laughing at yourself, and the story sounds really familiar to me, because the same thing has happened about 3000 miles due east of Spain. Every fool with an SDM got a mortgage.

También buena oportunidad para aprender españolismos:

al canto = inmediatamente
zulo = espacio pequeño preparado para esconder contrabando, armas o personas secuestradas.

También una referencia a Gromenauer, nombre que no me suena.

Hay como una docena más, pero no entiendo el acento.

¡Ah, es que no podía verlo antes! Ya lo he visto. Está muy bien el vídeo, es tal cual (aunque le falta algún detalle). Pero en resumen, más o menos es así.

"Zulo" es una palabra de origen vasco (de "haitzuloa" o "kobazuloa", cavidad o agujero en la roca) que se ha incorporado al español por los famosos "zulos" donde los etarras esconden a sus secuestrados (en algunos casos, también armas). Pero sobre todo porque los secuestrados vivían en agujeros de muy pocos metros cuadrados (en ocasiones no se podían ni poner de pie), como los pisos de ahora, más o menos y exagerando un poco .
