Ir a la nocturna

What does "ir a la nocturna" mean other than " to go to the night"?

The only use I know is "ir a la (escuela) nocturna", that is, taking the 8-12 part of K-12 education in night school. Very common among +18 yo students that couldn't get their high school diplomas.
