Can someone help me out with some good Spanish here? I live in what some people call apartments (in england flats) . We have a main door where the postman delivers the post/mail. Inside along a corridor there are two doors Flat 5 and flat 6. We call them flats which is the same (i think) as apartments.
What is happening is the person in flat 5 is taking his mail/ letters and discarding mine. This is causing me (to use the English expression) a headache. What i would like to do is put up a nice Christian notice like
Por favor deje las cartas dirigidas a planas de 6 en el suelo.
Have I got this right please as I do not want to offend our Spanish neighbour?
Just a thought. If the postman post letters to me should it not be
The letters from the postman. not the postman's letters. I think that is correct?
ALSO I would appreciate it if you would...
