Guisopo
Es un cepillo que se usa para limpiar botellas o carafas. Algunos amigos dicen que en Centroaméricia se usa la palabra mascón para ese cepillo.
Me parece que ningunas de esos términos son palabras officiales. ¿Hay alguien en los foros que me puede decir si hay otra palabra para este aparato más internacional?

Parecería una versión informal y quizá aumentada del hisopo (aspergillum, sprinkler, cotton bud) o una versión achicada del lampazo (swab, mop).

El DRAE da "guisopo" como perfecto sinónimo de "hisopo", aunque diga que es una palabra en desuso.

En México es un "cepillo de biberones/mamilas (baby bottles)". También he oído "escobilla" o "escobillón", pero ésas palabras también sirven para hablar de otro tipo de cepillos.

Por cierto, nomás por la nota de vocabulario: busqué en Google "mascón" y en vez de cepillos, me muestra lo que en México llamamos "fibra" (scrubber).

Gracias. Igual a México, en EEUU se usa bottle brush. No hay una palabra particular para guisopo.

BTW: Usaré el adverbio 'sólo' tildado hasta el fin de mis días, diga lo que diga el DRAE. Sé yo de los coscachos de Miss María cuando olvidaba ponerlo durante los años '50 del pasado siglo.
