All is correct in exercises A and C.
Only number 9 in exercise B is correct (it shouldn't have been included in that group because the appositive wasn't a phrase). Your phrases aren't inclusive enough. Here's a helpful sentence from Wikipedia. The appositive phrases are italicized. The noun the phrases rename are underscored. An appositive, a grammatically incomplete noun phrase, is sometimes set off by commas, a reader-friendly invention. |
