New to Tomísimo, not to Spanish!
¡Saludos a todos!

Me llamo René. Soy norteamericano. A los dieciseis años, yo fuí con mi familia a Cuernavaca, México, para aprender castellano y de la cultura latinoamericana. Pasamos tres meses ahí. Yo ya sabiendo francés, aprendí español rápidamente.

Después, pasé nueve meses con mi familia en el Ecuador antes de regresar a los estados unidos para estudiar en la universidad. Este año hace cuarenta años desde el año de vivir en Quito.

He tenido varias oportunidades de visitar Centro y Sud América, ó por avión ó por auto, y también a la República Dominicana. Siempre me siento en casa al regresar allá.

Sigo con amistades de varios lugares, and también con la gente hispana de mi localidad en Indiana.

Estoy feliz ser miembro de este foro.

Sorry, but "ha usted regresado" is not a correct construction of the sentence in Spanish, but "ha regresado usted" (or "ha regresado")
