To remain
Después de estudiar la palabra permanecer me pregunto de eso. ¿Cómo se dice "to remain"?

Sólo hoy vi una película en español y dijo "seguir ser".

Sigo siendo el gerente de la restaurante.
Me mantengo el gerente ...
Me estoy el gerente ...
ME quedaré el gerente ...
Continúo siendo el gerente ...

Necesito una poca de clarificación

seguir ser = continue to be = to remain
seguir (estar) esperando = permanezco esperando = to continue to be waiting(or to wait)= to remain waiting.
quedarse esperando = continue waiting = remain waiting

As we say in English: There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Seguir ser, no: seguir siendo.

También: permanecer.
