Spanish word for "needy"

Is the Spanish equivalent for the English word "needy", "necesitado"?

As in, "she's too needy to have a healthy relationship."

Thanks in advance!

Manuel

I agree with Rusty, but I would like to add a note: for the emotional meaning you must say "estar necesitado(a)".
"Ser necesitado" is only used for impoverished people.
