Toma cercana - close-up shot

Is ‘una toma cercana’ a correct translation for ‘a close-up (shot)’?
I’ve heard of another term used in Spain but can’t remember it and can’t seem to locate it in any dictionary.

Many thanks in advance.

"Primer plano", but you can also say close-up and you'll be understood.
