"Les es..."?
When using indirect objects + ser, is it ever ok to say "Les es..."?
For example, one could say: Le es facil hacer la tarea. (For him it is easy to do the homework). But could you say: Les es facil hacer la tarea. (For them it is easy to do the homework). It just sounds really awkward, and I'm actually not even sure if the first sentence is grammatically correct, either. I was just reviewing old notes on indirect objects + ser, and wanted to clarify. Thanks!! |

Ser, estar, parecer y algún otro verbo más no tienen objeto directo ni predicado, sino atributo. En muchos casos no es posible distinguir entre el sujeto y el atributo.
Las mías son aquellas. ¿El sujeto es "las mías"? ![]() Aquellas son las mías. ¿El sujeto es "aquellas"? ![]() El atributo se puede sustituir por "lo": Las mías lo son - Aquellas lo son. ![]() |
