(Not a wrong sentence, but not the best. We'd rather say "estoy un poco confundido", "tengo una pequeña confusión")

Sí, es común. El contexto lo determina.

Articles in this kind of cases, substitute the noun to avoid repetition, so one uses the one according to the gender and number of the noun.

Libro -> el de ella (el suyo), el de nosotros (el nuestro)
Mascota -> la mía**, la de ellos (la suya)
Platos -> los tuyos**, los de vosotros (los vuestros)
Camisas -> las de él (las suyas), las de ellos (las suyas)
*Something indefinite => lo -> lo mío, lo de ellos, lo de ellas, lo de antes, lo de siempre, lo de la semana... etc.

**There is no "de mí" or "de ti" here.
It's always the possessive pronoun (mío, mías, tuyo, tuyas... etc.)

No siento confianza al escribir las frases , pero espero que las mías tengan razón

The possessive pronouns are similar to the possessive adjectives, but they are normally used with the definite article.
Como sabes en inglés no es lo mismo
The yours

Ya tengo más confianza

¿Quieres decir $184.24 dólares de cabeza?

As long as they are headaches and not in other more sensible places of your anatomy...

Do me a favor?

Please state what you wanted to say in English and confront it with what you wrote in Spanish.

I know you can do it better.

Estoy feliz de que lo haya aprendido porque yo ya lo he encontrado muchas veces

Mejor en todo caso.

Watch: This is what you wrote in English, and you could have written it in some other ways too.

I´m happy that I learned it because I´ve already seen it a bunch of times

Estoy feliz de que lo aprendí porque yo ya lo he visto un montón de veces.

I guess that can be translated to: I am happy for having it learned.
