Rip tide & Rip current

How would you say "rip current" and "rip tide" in Spanish?

According to Babylon (www.babylon.com), rip current is 'corriente revuelta' and rip tide is 'aguas turbulentas' or 'aguas revueltas'. Hope this helps.

I did a bit of looking, and also found corriente de resaca, but I'm not sure if that's right. I think Rusty's options are better, in the absence of a native speaker's opinion.

Also I think riptide can be one word too.
