He exposed himself

Hi everyone,

I am a little shy about asking this question, but what would be the best way to translate "he exposed himself" as in (to the children...).

I came across this today in the news and since I am always wondering how to best translate and I was wondering how to say it.

thanks,

Marsopa

Sorry! I posted in the wrong thread

Sorry All,

I posted my sensitive vocab question under the wrong thread. I think it is under Boxing Day, which is most inappropriate.

I am embarrassed...I was posting quickly from work and didn't pay attention.

I haven't had much luck with the dictionary on this.

thanks,

Marsopa

Since Marsopa was a little shy about asking, I would think the article she was reading had to do with a man exposing his private parts (exhibitionism).

Translation:

You may also want to use 'el exhibicionismo' or 'la conducta exhibicionista' instead, or you can replace 'los genitales' with 'las partes naturales/desnudas/vergonzosas/íntimas/pudendas'.

I agree with Rusty
or simply "exhibió sus partes al público infantil"

BuenosDias!
