I'm looking to translate Large Hadron Collider. I can translate it literally, but I'd like to know what term is actually used in Spanish media for this. Thanks!

Since yesterday I've been trying to squeeze my brain out about this. There was a machine bought by a university in Chile that I think did the same thing. I cannot, for the life of me, remember the name of it.

El País (un periódico de España) suele llamarlo "el LHC" pero a veces dice "el Gran Colisionador de Hadrones".

Thanks for the input everyone. I just noticed that Wikipedia uses "Gran colisionador de hadrones", so either that or "Gran Colisionador Hadrónico" would probably be the best term.

I have always heard as "gran colisionador de hadrones".

Thanks sosia, that does seem to be more common than "Gran Colisionador Hadrónico".
