We have to wait for someone from Spain to clear this out, I speculate that there it'll be more common than here. There are a lot of phrases with a similar meaning like "desde el principio de los tiempos/días", "desde tiempos inmemoriales", etc. But I really like this one, I'll use yours more often. I like it in french: la nuit des temps... And in English, with the "mist" noun... gorgeous.

No, no me parece demasiado erudita, aunque tampoco familiar en el lenguaje hablado. Sin embargo, sí se usa en literatura y en el lenguaje escrito. Supongo que su origen está en la oscuridad que reinaba antes de que, según la Biblia, Dios creara la luz; es decir, la eternidad entendida "desde", no "hacia".

I like your other options, and I also thought of "desde el albor de los tiempos" ... ![]() Ah, gracias por tu input, Irmamar. Me alegro de que por lo menos la conozcas, y de que se use... (ya empezaba a dudar un poco, aunque con los 205.000 en google, la cosa estaba cantada...) Salu-dos, tres y cuatro.
