On this side of the Atlantic a deckchair is the one you always see on the deck of luxurious boats, thus the name (Remember The Love Boat BTW? I used to love it, but I now the thought makes me cringe... or maybe not, after all I like Mamma mia)
![]() Anyway, what I wanted to say (sorry about the digression) is that a deck chair for me is one that can be reclined and probably has never been upright in its entire life.
