Can someone please correct this?
New member here. I am wondering if someone could look over this and tell me if any of it is simply incorrect grammatically, or if there is just a better way to say it. I am just starting to learn Spanish and I like to practice with some of my friends who are native speakers, so any help would be greatly appreciated:

No sé hablar español muy bien, pero lo puedo entender algunos. No tengo muy confianza cuándo hablo, pero estoy intentando practicar mas. Estoy en mi primer año de español. Espero estudiarlo más porque me lo gusta mucho.

Thank you Elaina. This is not homework; I was just wondering if my word placement was correct, and if there were any idioms or alternative (better) ways of saying some of the content that I was not aware of.

No hablo español muy bien, pero algo si que entiendo. Al hablar no me siento muy segur@, pero practico todo lo que puedo. Este es mi primer año estudiando. Me gustaria que no fuera el ultimo porque el idioma me gusta de verdad.
